COMMITTEE CLEANS UP
BOARD APPROVES CHANGES
The VSHOA Board of Directors has approved an application from Richard Whittemore to modifiy his unit at 49 View Street. He will extend a vestibule toward the street.
The Board stipulated that Whittemore must apply for and receive permits from the town of Lantana and the work must comply with all building codes and ordinances of the town and county.
No part of the structure may be within six feet on the road.

BOARD TO CONSIDER CHANGES
The Board of Directors will hold another meeting on Saturday, February 18, at 3 p.m. in the Club House to consider an application submitted by Richard Whittemore detailing his plans for structural changes to # 49 View Street.
Architectural renderings for the proposed changes have been submitted and are available for inspection prior to the board meeting.
All shareholders are invited to attend the board meeting, submit their recommendations and listen to the board deliberations.

TOWN OF LANTANA ELECTIONS
On Tuesday, March 13, 2012, the Town of Lantana will hold a General Municipal Election for the Mayor seat, Group Five (5). The qualifying period for candidacy for the Group Five (5) Mayor seat will open promptly at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, and close promptly at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Please contact Crystal Gibson, Town Clerk, at 540-5016 for more information.
Any person wishing to become a registered voter can complete an application form that can be obtained at the Lantana Town Hall and mailed to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, before the registration books close on February 13, 2012. Once registered, voter registration cards are mailed and reflect each voter's precinct and polling place for all elections. The polls will be open on election day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If a Runoff Election is necessary, it will be held on March 27, 2012, utilizing the same times and precincts as the General Municipal Election.
