This is the official word from our contractors, The Paving Lady.
But driveway paving will begin before that.
All residents should have received a letter from the contractors requesting that everyone respond and tell the Lady if you want your driveway redone. You should tell them whether you want an "overlay" or the "strip-pave" option. Residents received an individual price (based on square-footage) for each option.
Tell the lady what you want and arrange for direct payment.
Please contact them even if you want no work done.
While each resident pays for his or her own private driveway, there is no charge to individual members nor an assessment for the main road.

In the letter to residents, the Paving Lady states:
"The requirement for getting your driveway done at these prices means they have to all be done at the same time. Please call or fax to be added to the list or to option out by May 11, 2012."
To get your driveway paved after the others are done will incur a minimum cost of $1,500.
Remember, no vehicles can be left in the driveways during the driveway phase of the work.
Members were told about the plan to re-do the street in the last general meeting and approved the expenditure in a mail-in ballot. Votes were tallied by a committee on April 17. Only one shareholder voted against it.
